what is brat cash?
Brat cash is an alternative form of money: a communal currency, inspired by Charli xcx’s album Brat and the Brat summer movement.
Brat cash notes have a value fixed 1:1 to the British Pound Sterling. As such, a brat cash note of £20 brat pounds sterling allows the user to purchase goods and services for a value of £20 pounds sterling at participating vendors in the UK.

In 2024, Charli xcx launched Brat summer, a movement that encourages boldness, risk-taking and embracing the uncomfortable. The brat ethos is edgy, imperfect and confident. Like launching a new currency and printing money, so people can spend it and have fun.
Brat is party, fun and messy. Brat is sexy. We need more brat in our lives. Enter brat cash. It’s brat, but cash, so go spend it and have an amazing time.

You can spend brat cash at participating vendors. If you spot a “brats accepted” sticker, you can spend brat cash at this shop or event.
